Our Vision

Our vision is to create beautiful, aspirational living spaces that embody a sense of the existing community. We design and construct each and every home as if it was our own, and pride ourselves on our collaborative community engagement, innovative design and building practices. We create residential communities that exist harmoniously with the beauty of the surrounding environment and compliment the liveability and lifestyle of the Port Stephens area.

Coho Property’s Directors Rod and Kylie Salmon are passionate about creating spaces for evolving families and have had extensive experience in property development over the past couple of decades, in Port Stephens and across NSW.

The Salmons first fell in love with the Port Stephens region as a young family, taking regular road trips up from Sydney for holidays with their children. It’s their commitment to family and connection with the area that encouraged them to create a different sort of property development company. One that inspires a generation of people to work less, enjoy life more and spend more time with their families.

Their children Kiara and Lauren, having spent more than a decade in other arms of the family business, joined their parents in the Coho Property team in 2017. Building on the strong foundation laid by Rod and Kylie as the company’s Directors, Kiara and Lauren brought a fresh innovative approach to the home design process.

Rod Salmon
CEO

Rod Salmon is the CEO of Coho Property, overseeing business development and strategy. Rod has over 40 years of experience in business, starting and growing many successful companies across industries including hotels, property and educational software. He loves speaking to buyers about exactly what they are looking for in a new home, and hearing stories about how they use their spaces.

Kiara Salmon
General Manager

With management skills honed over the past decade across diverse businesses, Kiara is the general manager of Coho Property. Kiara oversees the day-to-day operations of the organisation including marketing, finance and contracts administration. She holds a Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and is studying Construction Management at UNSW. She is passionate about reducing homelessness, and sits on the board of Detour House, an organisation which provides accommodation and support to homeless and at-risk women.

Kylie Salmon
Sales Experience

Kylie Salmon is in charge of the sales experience at Coho Property, ensuring buyers have everything they need to enjoy their new Coho home. Kylie has worked side by side with Rod over the years in many business ventures, developing a keen understanding for finance, operational matters and fostering enduring client relationships. In her work at Coho Property, she enjoys the opportunity of creating homes that bring families closer together.

Lauren Salmon
Creative Director

The creative director of interior design, fittings and furnishings, Lauren Salmon is meticulous and discerning in her dedication to making our properties both stylish and functional. Lauren approaches her work with a focus to enhance the sense of place, space and possibility in every property we build. A qualified nurse, she enjoys fashion, fitness and spending time with loved ones.
